Lung health
The Central African Republic has a population of approximately 5.15 million. In 2023, an estimated 28,000 people developed tuberculosis (TB), and 7,300 individuals lost their lives to the disease. Detection gaps remained a challenge, with 13,218 people estimated to have gone undiagnosed.
To support national TB screening efforts, we provided a CAD4TB to the country in 2023 through Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF).
