While Singapore maintains a relatively low tuberculosis burden, with an estimated 2,400 cases and 33 related deaths in 2023, consistent screening remains key in controlling the spread of the disease. In support of digital TB detection, a CAD4TB system was delivered to Singapore in 2020 to strengthen the country’s diagnostic infrastructure and explore the potential of AI-powered TB screening.
