In 2023, Haiti reported an estimated 17,000 tuberculosis (TB) cases, representing a 5% decrease from 2022. TB-related mortality stood at 2,100, while approximately 5,286 individuals remained undiagnosed or unreported. The country also reported 2,400 TB/HIV coinfections and 730 drug-resistant TB cases, highlighting the persistent complexity of TB control in the region.

To boost diagnostic capacity, we delivered 3 CAD4TB in 2023 to the GHESKIO Center. These were integrated into the existing X-ray infrastructure.
