Armenia, with an estimated population of 2.99 million, continues to prioritize the control of tuberculosis (TB) despite ongoing challenges. In 2023, approximately 720 people developed TB, while the health system couldn’t reach 316 individuals with the disease. TB-related deaths were recorded at 46 during the same year.
In 2021, the Red Cross deployed a CAD4TB to boost nationwide TB screening. Later, in 2022, 7 more units were delivered to Armenia’s Ministry of Health of Armenia.
