Belgium is a low-incidence country for TB. Despite being a developed nation with low TB incidence, Belgium saw 40 deaths and over 900 new cases of TB in 2022, including 45 children. Moreover, 124 individuals were missing from TB care in the year, highlighting that even in countries with advanced healthcare, people can still fall through the gaps.
In 2024, we provided a CAD4TB to facilitate TB screening in Belgium.
