Benin has an estimated population of 14.11 million in 2023, and TB remains a pressing public health issue. In 2023, an estimated 7,100 people developed TB, and 1,500 people died from the disease. Despite progress, detection gaps persist, with 2,795 people missed by the health system.
In 2021, we partnered with Energy Sarl to introduce CAD4TB in Benin, aiming to improve early detection and strengthen screening capacity. We provided transport, installation, and comprehensive training to ensure effective use and sustainable impact.
