Botswana, with a population of approximately 2.48 million, continues to face significant challenges in controlling TB. In 2023, an estimated 6,000 people developed TB, and 1,800 people died from the disease. Detection gaps persist, with 4,247 people missed by the health system.

To strengthen early detection and support the national TB response, we introduced CAD4TB in Botswana in 2018. Six CAD4TB solutions were deployed in mobile TB clinics, playing a critical role in the national TB prevalence survey. In 2025, we delivered an additional CAD4TB through PFSCM to the Ministry of Health, further enhancing the country’s capacity for digital TB screening.
