A couple years ago, we have added BabyChecker, an Artificial Intelligence solution that aims to improve the detection of complications during pregnancy. It focuses on resource-constrained settings, where most of the world’s maternal deaths occur. BabyChecker is in an early stage of its journey.

Additionally, we provide artificial intelligence software and mobile clinics for various applications, from X-ray clinics to gynaecology clinics. Operating in over 85 countries, we actively collaborate with governments, non-profit organizations, healthcare institutions, and United Nations agencies to implement sustainable screening programs and improve healthcare worldwide.

Role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager who is a self-starter, enjoys impact-driven ventures and embraces multi-disciplinary approaches. The ideal candidate has a passion for intrapreneurship, the ability to learn quickly and possesses great organizational and communication skills.
In this role, you will be responsible for our maternal health product called BabyChecker. Your primary tasks and responsibilities will be to identify potential clients and partners, establish new prospective relationships and develop and maintain close contact with clients and our partners globally. To ensure effective communication, you will develop a deep understanding of our products and services, e.g. the artificial intelligence solutions and the technique behind it.

Responsibilities

  • Manage sales leads: e.g. quotations, tenders, subsidies
  • Responsible for acquisition, sales quota and forecasting
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, (local) partners, distributors and prospects
  • Lead negotiations, prepare contracts and close deals
  • Identify new developments and turn them into business opportunities
  • Support new product launches and manage aftersales processes
  • Attend congresses, summits and other promotional activities globally

Educational background & skills

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably in commercial, biomedical, medical imaging
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the field of (international) sales and business
  • Experience in the field of biomedicine or medical imaging is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Fluency in English in writing and speaking is a must
  • Commercially driven and a willingness to travel
  • Ability to work independently, but also comfortable working in a small team
