Canada’s population reached 41.3 million last year. TB continues to affect people in the country, though at much lower rates than in many other parts of the world. In 2023, an estimated 2,300 people in Canada developed TB, and 93 lost their lives to the disease.

Since 2017, we have supported research at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, by providing CAD4TB for academic and clinical studies. In 2022, we provided an additional CAD4TB to further their research. Multiple publications from McGill University researchers highlight the use and evaluation of CAD4TB in diverse settings.
