Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer intern to design, develop, and execute automated tests to ensure product quality. You will be working on making test cases to automate and validate a production line for a software product (CAD4TB). This role offers an exciting opportunity for a technical individual to put all they’ve learned into action and to continue growing. You will be guided every step of the way while also having the freedom to focus on the areas you find most important. You will receive core tasks and a possibility to learn more on specific subjects you find interesting or hold close to your heart.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop automation scripts using test automation guidelines
  • Research and identify issues in software through rigorous testing.
  • Collaborate with Software Developers to devise solutions that align with product requirements
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Execute tests (manual or automated) and analyse results to report on the status of testing.
  • Ensure that all quality issues and defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved.

Education background & skills

  • Bachelor’s degree (currently enrolled) in computer science, software development, or a related field
  • Experience or acumen towards test automation
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C# and Java. Knowledge and experience in Python and docker is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent understanding of automation frameworks and test strategies.
  • Familiarity with software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
