According to the Ministry of Health in Lebanon, Lebanon is a low-TB-burden country. In 2023, Lebanon reported 580 estimated TB cases, with around 75 people with TB going undiagnosed or unreported annually. The trend of TB notification increased from 2012 onwards due to the influx of Syrian refugees and the migrant workforce in the country.

In 2021, we collaborated with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) as a part of the Middle East Response (MER), a project funded by the Global Fund, where we implemented 2 CAD4TB in Lebanon. In 2024, the nation scaled up its efforts to eradicate TB by deploying 2 Delft Light with CAD4TB with support from the WHO. In 2025, the WHO further assisted TB screening efforts by procuring 2 CompassDRs.
