On June 18, 2025, we formalized a strategic partnership with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to support the country’s long-term tuberculosis (TB) control efforts. This collaboration builds on our commitment to improve health outcomes through innovation, evidence, and local capacity.
Under this agreement, we will provide advanced digital X-ray systems and our AI-powered CAD4TB software to enhance early and accurate TB detection. These solutions are designed to improve diagnostic efficiency in underserved and remote areas, supporting healthcare workers in identifying TB cases earlier and more reliably. Our CAD4TB solution enables smart reporting and rapid image analysis, an essential step in strengthening programmatic TB management at the national level.

The MoU also includes joint initiatives in research and capacity building. Together with the Ministry and local public universities, we will contribute to knowledge development through collaborative research, structured training programs, and continued skills development for healthcare professionals. We believe that building local expertise is critical to sustaining impact over time.
Indonesia faces one of the highest TB burdens globally, with an estimated 1.06 million cases and 134,000 TB-related deaths each year. Around 30,000 cases of multidrug-resistant TB (MDR-TB) have also been reported. The scale of the challenge requires targeted and integrated solutions aligned with national health strategies. Since 2020, our CAD4TB technology has supported screening approximately 1 million individuals across Indonesia. This new MoU builds on our previous Statement of Interest, signed with the Ministry on March 10, 2020, and affirms our commitment to long-term collaboration.
At Delft Imaging, we focus on equipping health systems with reliable, scalable, and cost-effective tools to detect TB and other lung diseases early. Our work is grounded in partnerships, and this collaboration in Indonesia reflects our approach: combining technical innovation with local ownership to help address pressing public health needs.
We look forward to continuing this journey with the Ministry of Health and other local stakeholders, driving forward our shared mission of accelerating TB control and improving lives.
