About this Webinar:

The global fight against Tuberculosis (TB) has regained momentum. TB Programs in 2023 witnessed a full recovery from COVID-19 disruptions, with record numbers of people found and treated, according to the latest Global Fund Report. Accelerated efforts in screening and the rollout of innovative solutions have sparked growing optimism that we can end TB. However, to achieve this, we must remain laser-focused on finding the “missing millions.”

In this webinar, we will explore important themes that impact us all— from cutting-edge innovations in screening and AI-enabled detection to the critical importance of radiation safety. We will also hear how our partners, such as the Nigerian National TB Program (NTP), are leveraging these solutions to strengthen their healthcare systems and expand their reach.

Our keynote speakers:

  • Integration of AI enable X-ray in TB screening in Nigeria” by Dr. Emperor Ubochioma, Global Fund Grant Program Management Unit Team Lead (Manages the Global Fund of TB/COVID & RSSH).
  • CAD4TB’s Latest Updates – Exploring New Scores, Dynamic Threshold, and More” by Dr. Sasan Asadiabadi, Head of X-ray, Delft Imaging.
  • Boosting TB Screening: Portable Delft Light & Radiation Safety in the Field” by Mr. Akram Alhafez, Operations Manager, Delft Imaging.
  • AI-Driven Lung Abnormality Detection: Designing a Point-of-Care Ultrasound Screening Solution” by Ms. Elze Swinkels, Deep Learning Engineer, Delft Imaging.
